I was in a jam with a clogged kitchen sink drain in the early afternoon. Google brought up Roto-Rooter on the top on the list. I called the number and spoke with Mr Kahn. He very very polite, almost too polite. After he got all the information he told me it was my “lucky day” and I would get $15 discount if I installed their app on my phone. At no point did he mention charges to clean one drain. He scheduled a service call and the technician showed up in a very reasonable time. Andy was a nice guy, but he more focused on talking more than simply getting the job done. Once he determined how to solve the problem he informed me that it would be $430 to solve it. I felt that price was way high, but what was I to do at that point. After tax and with my discount the bill was $465. Andy was on site for an hour and a half and the job took about 20 minutes to complete. Needless to say I am one and done with Roto-Rooter.
