Nieman Plumbing

Our new home's plumbing was done by Nieman, the builder's subcontractor. We discovered that a J-pipe drain under a bathroom cabinet had apparently been leaking throughout the build, which damaged the cabinet floor.After closing, I asked them for a quote to install a water softener and RO system, but their price was much higher than the other quotes we received, so we went with someone else.Just a couple of months after their one-year warranty expired, the sump pump backflow valve started leaking. It had been glued directly into the plumbing instead of installed with rubber couplings that absorb flapper vibrations and make any replacement in the future much easier. Nieman would not repair it at no cost because it was just outside the warranty period, so I had to get an handyman to replace it.Today I had the builder's HVAC subcontractor out to repair a gas leak at the furnace. I was then told that Nieman actually made the final gas connection, and the fitting had been installed upside down!Keeping our fingers crossed that we are finally finished with all the Nieman surprises.

Brennan came out to check an ongoing sewer line issue, and he was fantastic from start to finish. A video inspection found a forest‑level root situation about 5 feet down near the road, plus a smaller root cameo at the end of a liner installed by another company. He used something called the Picote cutter (plumbing tech sounds so fancy) and deforested like a boss.What I appreciated most: Brennan was straightforward, explained everything in normal human language, and gave me options without trying to upsell things I didn't need anytime soon. Friendly, professional, and in and out in about an hour. Grateful and impressed.

Honestly just a great experience with this company. We had our sewer relined when bought the house. We ended up having a sewer back up due to root growth by the sewer main. They came out and saw the job through, fixed the issue, zero hassle. We will for sure continue to use Nieman for our upcoming plumbing projects

scheduled emergency replacement, quick turnaround (2 days), but they canceled the appt the day of while I was on a work call...amazing. I guess we're all working on Nieman's time and I took the wfh for nothing.

We hired Neiman Plumbing for a complex sewer line replacement after comparing four companies and narrowing it to two based on strong reviews, specialization in sewer lining, and knowledgeable, friendly technicians. One competitor identified both a crushed line in the yard and a break under our patio—work that would require removing a paver path, patio, wall, and tree. Neiman indicated they could avoid that additional disruption, which ultimately led us to choose them.After replacing the yard line, Neiman re-scoped the sewer and found the same break under the patio the other company had identified. From there, the project escalated significantly. They declined to match the original competitor’s pricing and questioned their licensing, then proceeded on a time-and-materials basis. Once excavation began, it became clear the entire line to the house needed replacement—resulting in removal of the patio, wall, pavers, and ultimately the tree. They also temporarily removed a newly installed city water line without informing us.The final result was far more invasive and costly than expected—several thousand dollars more than the original competing estimate for essentially the same scope of work. The yard was left in extremely poor condition; even our landscaping company noted it was among the worst they had seen after a sewer replacement, and they had to dig to recover buried materials just to begin repairs. While we’ve paid the bill and the project is complete, our experience fell well short of expectations, and I cannot recommend Neiman Plumbing.

Great company and service. We had to replace our hot water heater. Nieman was fast, professional, and the price was fair. And they left the area clean and tidy. In addition, the company is family owned, not PE owned. Would highly recommend!
